Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

I have an office in Elk Grove, CA, just south of Sacramento. I can also see clients who reside anywhere in CA remotely.

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, I am direct pay only and am not “in-network” with specific insurance providers. Rest assured you can still utilize your insurance for therapy services. I provide a “super bill” for sessions, which can then be submitted to your insurance. This means your insurance will reimburse you for all sessions at their predetermined rate (usual a percentage of the session cost). The cost to you will depend on your specific plan, but is often very similar to your co-pay if you were to see an in-network provider.

What is your fee and how can I pay?

You are able to use any major credit card, debit card, HSA card and even Venmo to pay for services. My current rate is $160 for a one hour session and $240 for an hour and a half session. As mentioned above, super bills are provided for you to seek reimbursement from your insurance, which greatly reduces the cost to you per session.

Can I see you remotely?

I can work with any client who lives in California and do see many clients fully remotely. You can sign up for a remote session by clicking my booking link.

Do you provide any guidance prior to a first session?

I am happy to discuss your needs and reasons for seeking therapy in advance of scheduling your first appointment. I want to ensure my approach and experience are a good fit for you. You can reach me through my contact page.

How soon can I start?

I can usually set you up with a first appointment within 1-2 weeks. If I am not able to do this, I can put you on a waitlist to have priority for first availability or provide referrals to other therapists in the area. You can get started now by clicking here.
